Dashmahavidya Temple
This temple is not founded by any Spiritual Devotee or Saint. This temple is founded by the club members of Shibpur Bijoyee Sangha. In other words, it can be said that it is founded as per strong will of Maa Herself. In 1958, some enthusiastic youngs started a Sarbojonin Kali Puja in Shibpur Bijoyee Sangha. Winthin 3-4 years this puja became famous in the locality, because of its strict adherence to religious rites, attractive decoration of puja pandel and colourful procession for immersion. At that time this Kali Puja was celebrated for 7-8 days. In 1964, Dashmahavidya Puja was started instead of Kali Puja. Ten forms of Dashmahavidya were worshipped for ten days.
